THE BIG DANCE!

During Spring 2021, approximately 250 children from the Moorland School and Fixby School took part in creative dance workshops, where they all learnt and rehearsed the same dance.

Approximately a further 700 children took part in the dance workshops virtually from home.

Alongside this schools have been busy making their own junk percussion and soundscapes with Musica who delivered workshops with the children in their classrooms. 

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions the original plan of having all schools involved take part in a huge town-centre flashmob had to be re-thought and so the dance pieces were filmed and edited together with the incredible soundscape to create a heart-warming, fun and joyful short film.
